Absolute disaster

Your recent update has rendered this plugin completely and utterly useless. The inability to create a cart from the back end is the main cause.

How can I switch back to the previous version?

I'm losing thousands of dollars per day.

As admin user are you not by default able to view all the products anyway? Whether it's on the front-end or on the back-end?

And you can create the carts while you're an admin and then send them to the selected users?

I might be able to make it work.

An unrelated question...

Is there a way to remove the links from images and item titles in the email itself?

All I need is a button that leads to the cart.

I like the fact that this version includes item images. I'd like to have those images a bit bigger with different positioning, but I'll work on that as soon as we have the other wrinkles ironed out.

At the moment it's pulling in the cart object created by WooCommerce so they are not editable at the moment.

I'll mention this to the team and see if we can maybe add on a custom CSS option so you're able to add your own styling to the email.

Found an older copy of the plugin. Not completely unexpected, but installing it only makes matter worse. Far worse.

Error message:

The plugin woocommerce-email-cart/email-cart.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.

What a joke.

Downloaded the copy that was left on Themeforest. Turns out, it's another older version that was up there.

Next time you update something, please try to not make it any worse than what it already is.

Hi Jules

Apologies for the new version having that bug, we realized it just after releasing the update and then took it down again to fix it.

With the new version we've now made it so that all users, admin too, will create the cart on the front-end as normal... This makes it a lot easier for Email Cart (now Save & Share Cart) to work better with variations and meta etc, and for keeping up to date with WooCommerce changes. Admin gets extra settings to customers too.

I realize the interface has changed quite a bit but if you use it more (maybe on a dev site) I think you will agree that it is better... and from here on we will be improving it by adding requested features and our own ideas.
We have lots more ideas to improve on this plugin and being built/updated the way we have, we feel it will be more powerful.

Let me know if there is anything else.

My problem is that we HAVE to create it from the back end. Our products are assigned to specific users who have signed up and filled out an extensive profile.

So in order for us to create it from the front end, we'd have to log into a specific user's account because other products are hidden to other users. That will never work since we have thousands of users who all create their own passwords.

Now we have to hire a developer to code a custom solution.

Hi Jules,

Have you tried combining this plugin with our other plugin "Shop as Customer" it just might be the combo you need.
