Add tracking number to completed email

I'm considering purchasing your plugin. Trying to make my shipping life easier and have a question about tracking numbers being sent in the completed emails. In my old shopping cart, I could edit the order shipped notification email and simply add this to it: http://track.aftership.com/${order.trackingNumber} Because aftership will track just about everything automatically, adding the tracking number variable worked fine. I know there are plugins that require you to select numerous options such as carrier, date, and so on. It would be nice to be able to just copy and paste the tracking number into a field in the order details, and have it be included by link in the email that goes out to the customer.

No answer, I bought the plugin, but then I got a refund because of no answer from the developer. I'm trying Pretty Emails instead

Stane, here's a workaround:

If you use the customer note template, and only use that template for order tracking email, you can add this to the main text box in the customizer:
Great news, your order has shipped!
Your tracking number is: [ec_customer_note]
You may track your order with the number above, here: US Postal Service
You can change the tracking site to whichever service you use. So the customer has to copy the tracking number and paste it in the input box on the tracking site. It would be nice to be able to just provide a clickable link, but it doesn't work, at least I don't know how to make it work.

Thank you very much Dax702

In my case I have another problem with "COMPLETE" order email which is send when order is "ON HOLD"

I'm waiting a support by CX... If I have no news I've find this plugin : https://www.woothemes.com/products/woocommerce-email-customizer/

Wootheme is a serious developper team, well I think the support is efficient ...

I tried the woothemes email customizer and it is not very good. It is very very basic and doesn't give the kind of control that the one by cxthemes gives

Hi. Really sorry about the massive reply delays lately. We have been working on plugin updates.

The suggested work-around sounds good and will work fine.

If you are more technically minded you can also create your own shortcodes and they should work in the emails too.

I tried this and it does not work at all. I get ". This shortcode cannot be used in this email" message. Could you update the plug-in to work with the shipment tracking from wootheme? Thanks.
