Yes Andrew, that will work.
- David the single quotes have been changed by this site to something weird. Try replacing that whole line (64) in that template (admin-new-order-supreme.php) with:
<?php echo $order->email_order_items_table( array( 'show_sku' => true ) ); ?>
There are a couple other arguments in that array which you can play around with too. See here.
Hope that works for you guys for now. We're busy doing a massive new release of Email Cart plugin so when we catch our breath we'll try add this as a option later.
Looking to achieve the same thing, this used to work but there appears to have been an update (maybe on woocommerce side) which removes it.
Doing some digging I found that line 64 in admin-new-order-supreme.php (will be similar in other files) uses a woo function "email_order_items_table(false, true)".
By changing the first argument here to "array('show_sku' => true)" places the SKU back into the order email.
@Sean - Are you able to add an option to the plugin (or make this the default) so we can show the SKU. Becomes quite important with super large stores 🙂
I'm trying to show the sku as well and tried your method however, it didn't work. I should be changing the file inside the plugins folder right, or do I have to copy the supreme template files to my theme directory? please advise. Thanks!
