Translation of WooCommerce "generic" text
Hi there,
On the setup of my subsite, the frontend of the site is in German (for my German customers) and the backend is in English (for myself).
However when the emails come through, the generic WooCommerce text is in English, when it should be in German. So the following for example is in English:
- Order No.
- Order date
- Customer details
- Billing address
- Shipping address
How can I make this appear in German as it should be? It seems you are pulling in the data from WooCommerce backend that the administrator sees (English language) rather than pulling in the data which the customer sees when placing their order (in German).
Thanks for your help
Please find a screen shot below, where I show you the text which should be appearing in German, but is in English.
And here is a screen shot of the same email when I deactivate your plugin (all translations correct).
Hi
Those bits of text should be translatable in the WooCommerce plugin.
We recommend using a plugin like WPML which might make it easier.
Thanks
Thanks. Just to let you know I used Loco translate, and that sorted everything.
However I see one small issue maybe you can correct on next update. On the admin emails (New Order), you have placed the text "Order number" twice. See what I mean in attachment. It is only on the admin emails I think and the other emails seem correct.
Ok... noted!
Thanks
Hello, would you, please share which language file you edited? We are also using LOCO and all seems to be translated fine in the WooCommerce plugin. However, the generic text is in English
You should be able to translate them in the plugin. Thanks
